Ask Questions related to a topic you cover in your blog. Follow the question with a link to your blog. Use hashtag and mention influential twitter accounts on the same post.

Use #FF to tell other users how much you value their opinions. Ask questions about their content and about them. People love to talk about themselves. Make them feel special.

Select your followers with care. You want to get followed back and clicking on 100K users thinking you will get followed back won’t do it. Do your research. Is this users RT others? How often does he/she tweet and how many followers does he/she have?

Whether it is a video or a picture tweets are more powerful and most likely to receive a click if you help support your claim with visualization.  You don’t have to do it with each of your tweets but tease people with inspiring pictures or videos. They will look forward receiving your tweets.

Follow one of the accounts that tweet about the same topic you do and take notes. See how they interact with users and the type of feedback they receive. Do they tweets at a specific time? Do they use humor? What kind of hashtags do they use? There is nothing wrong that learning from great social media influencers.
